Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Service Manager. As a Service Manager, you will manage the servicing of company and customer equipment in a timely and effective manner.

You will lead a team of technicians, organize work orders, maintain service records, and uphold safety standards while maximizing equipment availability across the fleet. This role requires strong planning, leadership, and operational excellence.

Formación

• Valid driver's license
• Extensive experience in repair and maintenance of self-propelled platforms and lifts
• Knowledge of work planning and scheduling and supervisory activities
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements
• Experience in maintenance and repair issues across the industry
• Planning and management experience
• Computer literacy
• Reporting experience
• Inventory management experience

Responsabilidades

• Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment, organizing the yard (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down).
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure equipment availability.
• Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies and provides training to staff mechanics.
• Collaborates with equipment vendors to understand maintenance requirements for new equipment.
• Evaluates equipment after repairs and safety checks and documents equipment status before/after rental.
• Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation and promotes safety awareness.
• Performs quality control checks and maintains service records. Creates, updates, closes and bills work orders.
• Files warranty claims in a timely fashion and commissions new equipment.
• Orders/returns parts and manages parts inventory; disposal of solid and hazardous waste as required.
• Compiles reports: fleet status, service records, open work orders, warranty claims, inventory, financials, and trends.
