Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Service Manager to lead the servicing of company and customer equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and reliable availability. You will manage repairs, parts, training, and documentation while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction.

The role offers growth, an entrepreneurial environment, and teamwork with an experienced service group. Strong leadership and hands-on maintenance expertise are essential.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience repairing and maintaining self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Clear perspective of maintenance and repair issues in the industry.
• Experience in planning and management.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with reporting.
• Experience in inventory management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment, organize yard and inventory.
• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs and availability.
• Order parts to maintain adequate supplies.
• Train and assist staff mechanics.
• Collaborate with vendors to learn equipment maintenance requirements.
• Evaluate equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
• Document equipment status before and after rental.
• Handle customer complaints about equipment condition or operation.
• Promote safety awareness and perform quality checks.
• Maintain and update equipment service records and work orders.
• Close and bill work orders; file warranty claims timely.
• Commission new equipment and manage parts inventory.
