Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Manager Build to Rent to coordinate maintenance staffing and site operations across multiple communities. You will manage schedules, oversee repairs, ensure safety, and monitor budgets while upholding the company’s service standards.

The role requires HVAC and EPA Type II certification, CPO, CAMT, and a valid driver's license, with substantial field experience and the ability to travel. On-site work across sites is common with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• HVAC and related systems experience (2+ years).
• Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.
• Ability to work remotely if necessary.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly/daily maintenance schedules, assign tasks to staff, and assist with daily property tours to identify maintenance needs and hazards.
• Repair hazards or assign tasks to maintenance team as needed.
• Use of personal vehicle to transport tools; no golf carts on site.
• Maintain grounds and property appearance, including interior/exterior rehab projects.
• Maintain inventory and security of property-issued tools; ensure safety protocols.
• Participate in site staffing considerations with Community Manager Build to Rent and coordinate training.
• Assist with property safety audits and safety training for maintenance staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
