Job summary

BH Management, LLC in Colorado Springs is seeking a Service Manager Build to Rent to coordinate maintenance teams across multiple communities. You will prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance while ensuring safety and compliance.

Applicants should have extensive maintenance experience, HVAC certs (EPA II and 410A), and CPO; CAMT preferred. Willingness to travel up to 95% on-site and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years or more experience with progressive maintenance, safety, and major HVAC/construction work.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to travel and work onsite up to 95% of the time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• HVAC certification, EPA Type II and EPA 410A certifications are required/preferred.
• CPO certification is required; CAMT preferred or obtainable within first year.
• Basic computer skills to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares maintenance schedules, assigns work, and tours properties for hazards and needs.
• Uses a personal vehicle to transport tools; no golf carts on site.
• Demonstrates independent judgment for priorities and emergencies.
• Oversees daily grounds upkeep and supports rehab/construction projects.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools.
• Monitors industry regulations and applies them to plans and decisions.
• Assists with staffing needs in coordination with Community Manager Build to Rent.
• Assesses training needs and coordinates safety/skills training; may assist with safety audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
