Job summary

VIP is seeking a Service Manager in the United States to lead a high-performing automotive service team. You will foster a positive workplace culture aligned with VIP’s mission, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences across all hours of operation.

You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage schedules, and uphold service standards while collaborating with management to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certifications and licenses (C1, P2, G1) may be required or recommended.

Responsibilities

• Build an extraordinary team that delivers a superior customer experience.
• Hire the best associates and develop a strong, capable team.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and training completed.
• Schedule the team to meet customer needs during all hours of operation.
• Communicate with the team daily via huddles and store meetings.
• Deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions and solutions.
• Distribute work orders to technicians based on first-available qualified personnel.
• Attend off-site meetings and training sessions as needed.
