Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Alabama is seeking a Service Manager to lead daily operations and coordinate with customers on service needs. This role offers growth opportunities and a path from within the company.

You'll supervise tire service staff, manage workflow, inventory, training, and ensure excellent customer service. Previous management or tire industry experience is preferred.

• Sales experience beneficial in service environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose tire issues and propose effective solutions.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Delegate tasks to service staff to maintain workflow.
• Assist with inventory management and stock levels.
• Support shop operations to maintain production levels.
• Follow up on past-due accounts for timely payments.
• Ensure service staff receive proper training and development.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What You’ll Do:

What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file
• Preferred: Experience in management and sales
• Strongly preferred: Previous experience in the tire industry
• Ability to read and verify work order details accurately
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information
• Familiarity with MaddenCo software system is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external customers and co-workers
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds
