Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Service Manager to lead daily operations, coordinate service needs with customers, and drive shop efficiency. This position offers growth opportunities in a long‑standing tire service company.

You’ll supervise service staff, handle inquiries, manage inventory, and ensure high standards of safety and quality. Experience in management and sales is preferred; MaddenCo software familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise service staff and delegate tasks to maintain workflow.
• Handle customer calls and inquiries promptly.
• Diagnose tire issues and recommend solutions.
• Assist in inventory management to ensure proper stock levels.
• Support shop operations to maintain production levels.
• Follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Ensure proper training and development for service employees.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose tire issues and recommend effective solutions

What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Preferred: Experience in management and sales
• Strongly preferred: Previous experience in the tire industry
• Ability to read and verify work order details accurately
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information
• Familiarity with MaddenCo software system is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external customers and co-workers
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds
