Job summary

The Service Manager at C & M Fleet Repair Service Inc will be based in Dalton, GA and oversee daily shop operations for fleet maintenance. You will coordinate service schedules, assign work orders to technicians, and ensure repairs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

You will also communicate with customers to understand needs, provide estimates, and maintain accurate records. In addition, you will monitor inventory, support vendor relationships, and help implement shop

The position also monitors inventory, supports vendor relationships, and helps implement shop policies, safety procedures, and best practices. In addition, the Service Manager mentors team members, assists with problem-solving on complex repairs, and supports continuous improvement in shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or management training in automotive or fleet services is a plus.
• Prior experience in a service manager, service advisor, or similar supervisory role in a repair or maintenance setting is preferred.
