Job summary

The Service Manager at C & M Fleet Repair Service Inc will be based in Dalton, GA and oversee daily shop operations for fleet maintenance. You will coordinate service schedules, assign work orders to technicians, and ensure repairs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

You will also communicate with customers to understand needs, provide estimates, and maintain accurate records. In addition, you will monitor inventory, support vendor relationships, and help implement shop

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or fleet service operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational and time management to prioritize work orders and schedules.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with shop management software for documentation, scheduling, inventory tracking.
• Ability to lead a team and foster a safe, inclusive workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or fleet training is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience in service roles preferred.
