Job summary

American Piledriving Equipment Inc is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Mid-Atlantic Service Department. This leader will direct daily shop and field service operations, develop technicians, and ensure safe, reliable equipment delivery.

The role emphasizes organization, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Key focus areas include prioritizing work, coordinating field service, and driving customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading technicians or managing a service department.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Service Technicians.
• Plan and prioritize shop workflow to meet customer commitments.
• Coordinate field service activities and technician scheduling.
• Review work orders, repair documentation, and service records for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with customers regarding repair status, scheduling, and technical support.
• Work closely with Branch Manager, Sales, Parts, and Office staff to ensure efficient branch operations.
• Monitor department performance, labor utilization, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement in service processes, technician development, and operational efficiency.
