Job summary

Anderson Equipment Company in the Northeast is seeking a Service Manager to lead the branch service department and oversee technicians in the shop and at customer sites.

You will coordinate maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, schedule repairs, assign priorities, and drive revenue and gross margin growth while maintaining safety and professionalism. Corporate support from HR, Sales, Credit will assist you.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Service Department.
• 5+ years of work experience with P&L responsibility and achievement of profitable results.
• Proven track record in training, scheduling, and managing field technicians.
• Strong technical competence in mechanical functions and specialized equipment repair.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch service department and oversee technicians in shop and field.
• Coordinate cost-effective, reliable service for customers with safety and professionalism.
• Schedule repairs, assign priorities, and manage work orders to timely completion.
• Drive revenue and gross margin growth with corporate support.
• Travel to job and customer sites to meet with potential buyers and customers.
