Job summary

Zirakian Day Associates, LLC, a growing heavy equipment distributor, seeks a Service Manager to lead a team of 9 Field Technicians and 3 Shop Technicians in service and repair of large machinery on site and in the field.

You will report to the President and play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction while balancing work-life values that our growth aims to support.

Qualifications

• Must have deep knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong communication, organizational, and management abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 9 Field Technicians and 3 Shop Technicians to service and repair large heavy equipment on site and in the field.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and report to the President.

Growing $60M Heavy Equipment Distributor/Dealer part of a larger corporation $100M+ seeking a talented Service Manager. This company sells and rents high quality earthmoving, compaction, paving and milling machines, crushing and screening equipment, trailers and material handling equipment. This position will manage a team of 9 Field Technicians and 3 Shop Technicians to service and repair large heavy equipment on site and in the field. This position reports to the President. • Must have a deep knowledge of heavy equipment - maintenance and repair, (mining, construction, road building equipment, systems, engines and components).
• HS Diploma or GED, technical, vocational, trade school education is preferred
• Must have 3-5 years experience in Service/Shop management
• Must have good communication skills, organizational skills, management skills, and computer skills.
• Base 90-120k base with $10K bonus potential, company car, good health benefits, 401k, etc., Relocation assistance is available if needed.
