Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and a well-trained crew. The role involves keeping a clean, organized line and guiding staff to meet standards, with opportunities to contribute to office tasks and training initiatives.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to policies, and supporting restaurant operations to deliver great guest experiences across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety practices: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf-life monitoring, Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office tasks: banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and stocked.
