Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is hiring a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high quality food and a well-trained restaurant crew.

The role involves keeping a clean, organized line, timing responses to incidents, and supporting daily operations on the floor and in the office. The position requires a high school diploma, restaurant experience, and knowledge of cash handling and food safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and understanding the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature on the line, shelf life checks, and Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew.
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
• Ensuring office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary.
• Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
