Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Tennessee is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served and the crew is well trained. The role emphasizes a clean, organized line and adherence to policies while on duty.

You will monitor line time and temperatures, help resolve customer incidents, and contribute to developing front-of-house staff with leadership potential. Strong emphasis on food safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience articulating Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies are followed.
• Help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Help to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered.
