Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining safe, quality food and training the restaurant crew. The role requires hands‑on leadership on the line, scheduling, and daily tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You will mentor front‑line staff, resolve customer issues, support food safety, and contribute to a friendly, efficient dining environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high‑quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the line clean and organized, with properly functioning equipment.
• Lead and train front of house crew; assist with crew performance reviews.
• Monitor food safety practices including hand washing, glove changes, time/temp checks, and shelf-life monitoring.
• Assist with crew scheduling, breaks, shift changes, and meetings.
• Develop future Service Leaders through coaching and cross-training.
• Handle general office duties like banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensure supplies and office equipment are stocked and functioning.
