Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive customer experience and ensure safe, quality food is prepared and served. The role also ensures the restaurant crew is well trained, lines run smoothly, and tasks are completed efficiently.

You’ll contribute to food safety, staff development, and everyday operations while supporting a fast-paced dining environment focused on delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Good understanding of food safety requirements.
• Familiarity with office paperwork and record-keeping.
• Ability to read, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience and ensure safe, quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the restaurant line clean and equipment functioning.
• Be on your feet while clocked in; assist with tasks when not busy.
• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served and help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety with hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, and daily checklists.
• Assist with customer incidents and maintain positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew; assist with performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders; assist with office administration duties.
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are stocked; manage inventory as needed.
