Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Service Leader to ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining safe, high-quality food and guiding a trained crew. You will keep a clean, organized line, supervise shift activities, and step in to support during busy periods.

The role requires hands-on leadership, knowledge of cash handling, food safety, and office procedures, plus a high school diploma and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf-life monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist compliance.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are stocked.
