Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, while guiding a trained restaurant crew to deliver excellent service.

You will keep the line clean, monitor line equipment, and supervise breaks, shifts, and training. The role requires working on your feet and a proactive approach to completing tasks and supporting the team.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; keep the restaurant line clean and stocked; ensure crew is well trained and provides good service.
• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served and help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety through hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Resolve customer incidents and promote positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules; develop and cross-train all front of house Crew; assist with performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders and assist with miscellaneous office administration tasks such as banking and paperwork; ensure office supplies are stocked.
