Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Northampton, MA is seeking a Service Leader to ensure safe, high-quality food and a well-trained crew, while maintaining a clean, efficient line. You’ll be on your feet guiding daily tasks, breaks, and training to deliver strong customer service.

You’ll bring knowledge of cash handling, food safety, and restaurant operations; a high school diploma and restaurant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety (hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life, daily safety checklist).
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training front-of-house crew.
• Assisting with crew performance reviews and future leaders.
