Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Virginia Beach is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and a well-trained crew. You will supervise the line, keep it clean, and model strong service while clocked in, and assist on busy shifts as needed.

The role requires hands-on leadership, food safety awareness, and effective crew development, with opportunities to train others and contribute to office tasks when busy.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge
• Familiarity with office paperwork
• Experience in restaurant operations
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high-quality food is served
• Help resolve food quality issues
• Support food safety through hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, and daily safety checklists
• Assist with resolving customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences
• Help monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house Crew
• Assist with crew performance reviews
• Develop future Service Leaders
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking and paperwork
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are restocked as needed
