Sunstate Equipment Co. in Kent, WA is seeking a Service Lead to assist the Branch and Service Managers with shop flow, service quality, and timely repairs to the rental and delivery fleets.

You will prioritize downed equipment and oversee the technicians to ensure work is completed correctly and on time. Regular preventative maintenance and major repairs will occupy roughly 75% of the role, with duties including ensuring proper documentation, monitoring parts orders, safety practices, and staff

Formación

• Possess mechanical knowledge of construction equipment.
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly.
• Ability to focus on details and complete tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
• Full range of motion and strength to lift 25-90 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate to establish daily work priorities of shop and yard employees.
• Facilitate effective communication with shop via huddles, meetings, and one-on-one interactions.
• Assist with major equipment repair decisions and warranty issues.
• Ensure supplies are available for seamless operations.
• Serve as liaison between shop and office for equipment issues.
• Demonstrate and instruct troubleshooting and repair techniques for equipment.
• Provide training on repairing engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive trains.
