This role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, job coaching, and maintaining safety standards. The position offers a stable 40-hour week with OT as needed and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Knowledge of construction equipment mechanics.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new information.
• Physical ability to lift 25–90 lbs with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set daily shop priorities with staff and yard personnel.
• Facilitate clear communication through huddles and meetings.
• Decide on major repairs and address warranty or damage issues with managers.
• Ensure availability of shop supplies and orderly records.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, train staff on procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment and clean shop areas.
• Assist in handling yard duties and equipment movement.
• Report safety incidents promptly to leadership.
