Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Service Greeter for Mercedes-Benz of Beaverton. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $19.00–$21.00 per hour depending on experience.

You will intercept calls, relay messages, and guide customers to the right staff in a fast, courteous manner. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in a greeter or customer service role, speak clearly on the phone, and maintain a professional appearance with solid typing and 10-key skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in Greeter or related customer service.
• Clear telephone speaking ability and professional appearance.
• Ability to convey messages clearly and quickly to employees.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Typing and 10-key operation by touch; computer friendly.

Responsibilities

• Intercepts all incoming calls and determines whether the person should be interrupted.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner to minimize wait times.
• Take thorough messages with caller name, company, time and message.
• Provide basic information to general inquiries.
• Serve as service center greeter and direct customers to appropriate staff.
• Update and distribute telephone roster; maintain phone log and name files.
• File repair orders daily and handle special projects as assigned.

• Pay: $19.00 - $21.00, depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

• Intercepts all incoming calls and determines whether the person being called should be interrupted.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the answering time and the time they are put on hold.
• Take thorough messages, including the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, time, and the message.
• Communicate messages to the appropriate parties promptly.
• Provide very basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
• Serve as service center greeter (i.e. when customer is not met by a Service Advisor and direct to appropriate persons as necessary.
• Update and distribute company telephone roster when necessary.
• Maintain Phone log daily.
• Maintain customer name file daily.
• File repair orders daily.
• Special projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years experience as a Greeter or in a related customer service position.
• Must speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism and competence to callers.
• Ability to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Typing and 10 key operation by touch, computer friendly.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
