L0223 Mercedes-Benz of Portland is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to perform repair work to Lithia & Driveway standards.

You will diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, document results, and maintain tool inventory while delivering exemplary customer service.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dealership automotive experience; ASE certification is desirable; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year professional/dealership automotive experience.
• Mercedes-Benz experience not required, but helpful
• ASE and manufacturer certification, desired
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Pay: $35.00 + per flat rate hour, depending on experience Department Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 7:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm
