Job summary

Polk Mechanical in Dallas/Ft. Worth is seeking an HVAC Service Field Supervisor to lead a team of service technicians, oversee workload, scheduling, and field operations.

You will work with sales for equipment scope, manage costs and invoicing, supervise installation and commissioning, and ensure customer sign-offs. A minimum of 5-7 years in field service or project management and a valid driver's license are required.

Polk Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Service Field Supervisor to execute hands-on leadership for our Dallas/Ft. Worth Service Department, reporting to the HVAC Service Manager. This role is ideal for a servant leader who is excited about helping a team grow and fostering a culture of inclusiveness.

• Supervise, manage, and coach and train service technicians
• Manage workload, overtime, and overall demand on labor resource planning
• Work with sales teams on sales and rental equipment, defining equipment and service scope with customers
• Monitor cost and overall profitability of projects
• Work with procurement to prepare equipment purchase orders, installation and parts lists, and coordinate shipment and installation
• Supervise mechanical and electrical installation, monitor and enforce scope, and manage customer expectations
• Supervise start-up and commissioning of equipment
• Obtain inspection sign-off and customer sign-off, and monitor final invoicing preparation
• Minimum of 5-7 years of field service management or project management experience required
• Strong technical ability in HVAC equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient use of MS Office products, especially Word and Excel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to develop relationships with the sales department, customers, and management
