Job summary

Lum’s Chevrolet GMC is seeking a friendly, organized Service Coordinator to join our McMinnville service department. This full-time, day-shift role involves greeting customers, directing them to the right advisor, and ensuring smooth service drive operations in a customer-first environment.

The position requires high school education, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Friendly and professional personality with a genuine interest in helping customers.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a friendly and professional greeter in the service drive during scheduled service drive assignments.
• Welcome customers arriving for service and assist with directing them to the appropriate Service Advisor or department.
• Assist with customer vehicle flow and service drive operations.
• Drive the dealership shuttle as needed and provide safe, courteous transportation for customers.
• Answer inbound service calls during scheduled phone assignments.
• Make outbound service calls to customers regarding service needs, appointments, maintenance reminders, follow-up, and other service-related matters.
• Schedule, confirm, and update customer service appointments.
• Accurately document customer information, appointments, and communications in dealership systems.
• Assist Service Advisors and other Service Department employees with customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and dealership employees.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-friendly environment.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and driving requirements.
