Job summary

Welch Equipment Company is seeking a Service Coordinator to support technicians and manage timekeeping and dispatch processes. You will answer calls, coordinate with customers on service needs and purchase orders, and help ensure accurate time entry into ADP.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, able to multi-task, and comfortable working with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with internal teams including techs, parts, and accounting.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Very organized.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Problem solving, self-starter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be customer focused both internally and externally.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to varying workloads and environments.

Responsibilities

• Service coordinators are responsible for their assigned technician team
• Maintain a Work In Process (WIP) according to company policies and expectations.
• Monitor, collect , and input all technicians worked time daily.
• Spot-check technicians' timecards against GPS for accuracy and to make sure that all technicians are following company policies.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams including technicians, parts, accounting, etc
• Answer all overflow of incoming service calls. Collecting the necessary information on those service calls for proper dispatching.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Additional duties as assigned
