Job summary

Blake & Pendleton (B&P), the largest Sullair Distributor in the Southeast, seeks a Service Coordinator for its Birmingham, Alabama, branch to support technicians and service operations. The role focuses on scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating work orders, while maintaining strong customer communication and timely job completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in service coordination or related administrative roles (industrial, HVAC, or equipment service a plus).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent communication and customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or service management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch service technicians for installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer service requests.
• Open, update, and close work orders in the system accurately.
• Track parts orders and ensure availability for scheduled jobs.
• Communicate with technicians to manage job status and timelines.
• Coordinate warranty claims, service reports, and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative support to the service manager and team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
