Job summary

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Bethel, Alaska, is seeking a Service Desk Technician to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can complete business tasks. You will triage calls, document interactions, and escalate issues as needed in a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of desktop experience, and a valid driver's license; an A+ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in general desktop experience with hardware and business applications.
• Valid driver's license or equivalent. An A+ certification is preferred.
• Personal computer, personal cell phone, personal high-speed internet.
• A basic understanding of computer technology terms such as operating systems, hardware, office automation applications, printers, scanners.

Responsibilities

• Triages incoming phone calls and prioritizes, documents, and resolves or escalates end user requests.
• Maintains and logs all support calls for call tracking and SLA requirements.
• Serves as operator in lieu of other roles.
