Advantage Tech is seeking a Service Desk professional to support our Olathe, KS client. The role involves assisting with computer replacements, imaging, and user ticket handling to keep systems available and productive.

You will respond to inquiries via phone, email, or chat, perform basic diagnostics, and escalate as needed. This position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and proactive customer service in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 1-year help desk related experience.
• Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems at corporate level and with desktop/laptop hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
• Knowledge of network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Active Directory understanding and device management.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable history.

Responsibilities

• Respond proactively to calls, emails, and chat as the first level of IT service desk support.
• Open/close work orders and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with imaging, hardware replacements, and software installations.
• Document issues and resolutions in incident records.
• Guide end users through troubleshooting steps to restore services.
• Maintain documentation and records of hours spent on tickets and projects.
• Participate in technology projects and maintain proficiency across systems.
