Job summary

Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking an in-person IT Service Desk Technician to provide primary support for county users and maintain end-user computer systems in Lecanto, Florida. The role includes troubleshooting software, imaging new machines, VOIP management, and coordinating with vendors.

You will handle Active Directory accounts, assist with equipment inventory, and participate in emergency response and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent to two years of college.
• Two years of relevant IT support experience.
• Valid Florida Driver License or able to obtain within 30 days of residency.
• Certification in A+, Net+, Sec+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary service desk support for IT users.
• Troubleshoot end-user computer equipment and related systems.
• Install software and set up new computers from images.
• Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory and VOIP systems.
• Maintain IT inventory and conduct asset audits.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and liaise with vendors.
• Assists with disposal/recycling of obsolete equipment.
