Job summary

Penske is hiring an IT Service Desk Technician to provide daily technical support for Penske PC users in corporate and field locations. The role covers hardware and software troubleshooting, problem resolution, and collaboration with programming staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of customer service experience (technical preferred), familiarity with Windows 10, Edge, Chrome, Office 365, printers, and basic VDI/network concepts. Domestic travel and a background check are required.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of customer service experience (technical preferred).
Service Desk and Project Management experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
A+ technical certifications preferred.
Excellent communication skills required.
Knowledge of Windows 10, Edge, Chrome and Office 365.
Printers in a Windows environment troubleshooting knowledge required.
Basic understanding of VDI and network connectivity.
Working knowledge of wireless technology and mobile environments.
Willingness to travel and pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide first level troubleshooting for Penske system issues via phone and remote tools.
Work on laptop software configuration and special projects.
Log all support calls in the tracking system.
Coordinate with programming staff to communicate software issues.
Follow-up with callers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle other projects and tasks as assigned.
