Job description

We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to provide software and hardware support for both on-campus and remote employees. This role serves as the first point of contact for IT issues, managing technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and maintaining clear communication on ticket statuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-level IT support via phone, email, and Service Desk portal.
  • Troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
  • Manage and resolve Service Desk tickets, ensuring timely updates and escalation when needed.
  • Maintain IT documentation and develop a knowledge base for self-service solutions.
  • Configure and deploy laptops using SCCM/MECM and oversee hardware inventory.
  • Support VoIP phone systems and conference room AV setups.
  • Assist with hardware/software projects and multi-site IT support.
