Job summary
Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced IT Desktop Support professional to install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops and peripherals for end users. You will provision operating systems and software, use remote desktop tools, and assist with imaging utilities and device provisioning.
Document work in the ticketing system, follow ESD safety practices, support printers, and manage AD/GPO configurations in an enterprise environment.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems across multiple versions.
- Familiarity with imaging/deployment tools such as Ghost/SCCM.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy (GPO).
- Ability to provision wireless devices and peripherals.
Responsibilities
- Disconnect/reconnect PC workstations, peripherals, and phone equipment.
- Deliver and setup PC equipment to end-users.
- Use ticketing system to document work events and verify customer satisfaction.
- Provision operating systems and software onto workstations and laptops.
- Provide remote desktop support and technical guidance.
- Imaging/utilities deployment support (Ghost, SCCM).
- Assist with printer setup and maintenance.
- Support AD/GPO configurations and SCCM in enterprise environment.
