Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions is seeking a Manager, Service to lead the Fort Worth Service Department. You will oversee P&L, safety, training, and customer satisfaction, building a strong team and aligning operations with financial goals.

You will coach employees, manage day-to-day activities, develop key service accounts, and focus on delivering reliable service that keeps customers moving.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong business judgment and people leadership skills, with the ability to coach employees, manage financial performance, solve problems, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude or related industry experience is preferred, along with an understanding of service operations.
• Strong communication, customer service, math, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fort Worth Service Department, including P&L performance, safety, training, quality, productivity, pricing, processes, and overall customer experience.
• Build and develop a strong team by coaching employees, hiring and onboarding great people, setting clear expectations, and creating accountability for quality and efficiency.
• Strengthen customer relationships through regular visits, proactive communication, and practical problem-solving, with particular attention to key service accounts and opportunities for additional service revenue.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations, including repair orders, quotes, invoicing, fleet and vehicle performance, tooling, supplies, facility needs, vendor relationships, and departmental expenses.
