Job summary

HOLT Truck (TRUCK) in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Service Manager to lead the service department, drive customer satisfaction, and enhance overall profitability. The role requires overseeing daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and coordination with parts and sales to deliver Legendary Customer Service.

You will develop staff, maintain safety standards, monitor KPIs, and pursue continuous improvement across service processes and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, technical, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant work experiences in a dealership position recommended.
• Currently maintains or can obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan the daily operations of the service department, leading and motivating staff.
• Set routines for planning and following up on meetings.
• Carry out pulse meetings.
• Ensure efficient flow of authorized work with quality and documentation.
• Develop and monitor standards for cleanliness and organization within the service department.
• Oversee tools and equipment maintenance, calibration, and repair needs.
• Monitor customer service adoption and address any deviations.
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure parts availability and warranty procedures.
• Create and manage schedules and shifts.
• Develop and manage customer relationships to meet current and future needs.
• Build relationships with customer representatives and manage complaints.
• Grow service solutions sales by developing and communicating the services portfolio.
• Coordinate with dealership personnel to align service strategies and solutions.
• Monitor pricing and discounts to meet established levels.
• Follow up on budget, results, KPIs and service department costs.
• Review warranty performance and implement improvements.
• Lead by example and foster professional development within the team.
