Job summary

Trane in Alabama is hiring for a Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources.

You will coordinate the execution of service agreements and repair work, including procuring labor and materials within financial standards. You will interact with customers, communicate with Field Technicians, and coordinate job priorities with Service Managers.

Qualifications

• Certificate/degree from college or technical school with 1 year related experience and/or training; or 3 years related experience with HS Diploma/GED.
• Excellent customer service skills; extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
• Organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources, dispatch and assign team members to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors, and equipment based on project needs.
• Communicate with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisors to assign technicians.
• Coordinate with Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary.
• Generate work orders, review paperwork, and produce reports.
