Job summary

Trane Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Service Coordinator III to plan, coordinate and direct activities of service resources and labor for HVAC projects. The role includes procuring labor and materials to meet financial standards and coordinating with Field Technicians and Service Managers to prioritize work.

You will ensure timely, safe, and on-budget completion of service work, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• College/technical degree with 3 years related experience, or HS Diploma with 5 years related experience.
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills and be comfortable on the phone.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources, dispatches and assigns team members to project.
• Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs.
• Interacts with Project Managers, Service Managers, and HVAC Field Technician Supervisors to assign/dispatch technicians.
• Coordinates operations with the Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and responding to special requests.
• Generates work orders and reports for project administration.
