Job summary

Ahern is seeking a Service Coordinator in Des Moines, IA to handle incoming service calls, schedule technicians for customer visits, manage parts, and assist with invoicing. This role helps assemble proposals, process maintenance contracts, and renewals, while maintaining customer data and generating monthly reports.

You will support service customers across the Omaha, NE, Des Moines, IA, and Davenport, IA regions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative and/or customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming service calls and schedule technicians for customer visits.
• Manage part ordering, issue purchase orders, and assist customers with invoicing/billing questions.
• Assist with assembly of proposal and bidding documents; process maintenance contracts and renewals.
• Maintain customer database information and generate monthly reports.
