Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Service Coordinator to act as the hub for the service department.

You will coordinate repair work with customers and technicians, process invoices, and perform overall administrative duties to keep the department operating smoothly day to day. The role involves scheduling and quoting repairs, updating customers on service progress and invoicing, dispatching field technicians to customer sites, opening and updating work orders, and coding invoices for accounts

Qualifications

• Two years or more in an administrative assistant or similar role.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel (formulas, charts, graphs), Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience assisting customers with accounts in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, quote, and discuss repair services with customers and technicians.
• Provide updates to customers on services and invoices in person or by phone.
• Communicate with management about invoicing issues, customer complaints, and technician needs.
• Dispatch field service technicians to customer sites.
• Open work orders and update systems with service history.
• Process and close work orders for completed work.
• Create purchase order numbers and code invoices for accounts payable.
