Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a service consultant in Massachusetts to initiate service and repair processes, verify warranty coverage, and prepare detailed estimates. You will write repair orders, maintain customer records, and communicate clearly between customers and technicians to ensure accurate service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of automotive service experience and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and automotive exposure.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive service or repair environments.
• Full-time position; two Saturdays per month are required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying performance issues and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage and develop estimates.
• Write repair orders and maintain customer records.
• Serve as the liaison between customer and technician to ensure understanding of needs and recommendations.

Job description

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
