Job summary

Autoserviceplus in Springfield, MO is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the service and tire team, help drive sales across service labor, parts, tires, and fleet, and ensure the shop operates efficiently.

You will assist in training staff on customer care processes, monitor workflow for safety and productivity, and maintain an organized, compliant service area aligned with company standards. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year automotive service experience required.
• One year automotive service sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to apply basic math for commissions and discounts.
• Experience as a work lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer care, work orders, register assistance, maintenance and merchandising.
• Follow POS, inventory, returns and procurement policies.
• Address customer service issues and business opportunities with management.
• Drive sales goals for the service center through engagement and coaching.
• Assist in training staff on customer care processes and CVIs.
• Monitor shop productivity and back shop operations for efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment and comply with policies.
• Open/close responsibilities as key holder and keep an organized shop.
• Adhere to safety and environmental rules.
