Job summary

DHL Express in the United States is seeking a Customer Service/Support role at our Service Center. You will handle customer inquiries, process shipments, coordinate billing issues, and assist with documentation and pickup scheduling.

The position requires a High School degree, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will be part of a team committed to efficient service and customer satisfaction at our Ohio facility.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service/support or related field.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must pass FAA, TSA, and CBP background and security checks to acquire a SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, sales and operational support for the Service Center.
• Answers phone and greets visitors.
• Resolves billing problems for the Service Center.
• Research shipment tracking requests and resolve misplaced shipments.
• Communicates with Sales/Service to resolve customer problems.
• Assists with operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, bagging, and accepting payments.
• Dispatches pickup and delivery information; arranges daily pickup schedules.
• May assist with import/export documentation and customs clearance in some markets.
