Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Service Manager to gain hands-on experience in one of its auto service centers. You will manage the service department, schedule staff and organize workflow to deliver quality work on time to guests.

You will drive sales through guest interactions, build guest relationships and help train service department staff. Warranties and promotions will be explained to guests, with emphasis on safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service management experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• U.S. work authorization, no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department by scheduling staff and organizing workflow to deliver quality work on time.
• Drive sales through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction as liaison between technicians and guests.
• Contribute to training and development of service department associates.
• Explain warranties, promotions and advertisements to guests.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
