Who we’re looking for:

ARC Document Solutions is looking for a full-time Service Center Manager in Ft. Birmingham, AL, who will be responsible for overseeing employees and daily operations within the service center. The Service Center Manager directs their store to succeed in quality and service by maintaining the facility's readiness. The Service Center Manager will maintain the branch’s personnel and equipment readiness and ability to provide top customer service and deliver a quality product.

In this role you will:

  1. Plan and direct print production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  2. Responsible for the profitability of the service center, ability to analyze and make financial decisions that will impact the business.
  3. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the service center including equipment maintenance, customer service, employee management, inventory, and quality control.
  4. Communicate with employees regarding safety notifications, branch performance, upcoming projects or events, company policies and work schedules.
  5. Develop and maintain systems to measure branch performance against established standards.
  6. Establish and maintain appropriate inventory controls.
  7. Manage cash sales reporting and submissions.
  8. Revises production schedules and clarifies priorities to meet client deadlines.
  9. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Five to ten years of progressive, hands-on management of reprographic and/or color print solutions.
  2. Ability to read and understand financial statements (required).
  3. Strong comprehension of small format, large format, and reprographic/large format print solutions.
  4. Ability to assess/troubleshoot customer files and hard copy orders for production problems or issues.
  5. Flexibility to work additional and non-traditional hours when needed.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Excellent customer service skills.
  8. Hands-on knowledge and experience with Adobe CS software and Microsoft Office.
  9. Proven ability to articulate and promote products and solutions.
  10. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and align operational processes to achieve business results.
  11. Self-motivated with the ability to build and lead teams.
  12. Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  13. Proven leadership in a similar print production environment is strongly preferred.
