PumpMan Philly has an exciting opportunity for a Service Center Manager in Folcroft, PA.

Job Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Service Manager to deploy field service technicians ensuring project requirements and budgets are met.
2. Manage daily operations including service, sales, and financial performance.
3. Oversee teams managing installation, start-up, repair, and replacement projects in residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal water/wastewater systems, including estimating, labor planning, scheduling, work assignments, and quality control.
4. Engage with customers for dispute resolution and to ensure satisfaction.
5. Participate in job walks, meet customers, and gather information for estimators.
6. Attend community business events to gain market knowledge.
7. Manage Sales, Estimators, and maintenance teams to ensure comprehensive project estimates and proposals.
8. Own business processes and profitability analysis across all channels.
9. Ensure a safe and efficient work environment through disciplined management.
10. Handle A/R and A/P responsibilities.
11. Assist in hiring a technically skilled team exceeding customer requirements.
12. Mentor field employees to build trust and cooperation.

Job Requirements

1. Experience in contracting, construction, or industrial services preferred.
2. Technical or business degree, or relevant trade certifications.
3. Knowledge of MEP systems; construction/contracting experience with pumps, motors, and controls is essential.
4. Contract review skills.
5. Sales experience is a plus.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
7. Minimum 1 year managerial experience with mechanical systems, service, maintenance, or sales.
