Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Service Center Supervisor to oversee field service engineers and technicians in a defined area, while performing regular fieldwork. You will supervise, train and mentor staff, troubleshoot complex electrical systems and lead major projects from planning to execution.

Travel to customer sites is expected, with emphasis on safety and client engagement. You will estimate, propose and bill for services, prepare detailed reports, and interface with customers to drive

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent with related work experience.
• High school or equivalent with extensive field service experience in electrical power.
• Factory certification on Core Vertiv (Liebert) UPS and related products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field service engineers and technicians in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, inspections and appraisals of electrical systems.
• Lead large projects including generator tests, substations and turnkey efforts.
• Develop tests, inspections and field service procedures.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, schedules, reports and billing.
• Maintain client interface and participate in business development activities.
