Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a team delivering start-up, commissioning, emergency service, and troubleshooting of electrical switchgear up to 15kV. The role emphasizes safety leadership, customer rapport, and project accountability across installed systems and field services.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, executing complex tests, preparing proposals, and providing timely reports. Strong knowledge of NEC/OSHA/NFPA, plus MS Word proficiency, is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and nine years minimum same or similar work experience.
• High school education or equivalent and ten years minimum same or similar work experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power theory and safety procedures.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train field service technicians in the service region.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and inspections on electrical systems.
• Manage large projects including commissioning and substation work.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scheduling, and field reports.
• Maintain client relations and drive business development activities.
