Job summary

Central City Toyota is seeking a Service Center Dispatcher to organize daily shop workflow by assigning repair orders to technicians based on skill, workload, and availability. The role emphasizes clear communication with service advisors and technicians to maintain Toyota service standards.

The ideal candidate will manage RO tracking, balance workloads, and ensure timely updates in the DMS, contributing to efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced dealership

Qualifications

Experience in automotive service dispatching or shop scheduling is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill, workload and availability.
Monitor shop workflow to keep repairs moving efficiently.
Prioritize orders according to appointments, promises and urgent repairs.
Coordinate with service advisors and technicians on status and estimates.
Track RO progress from assignment to completion.
Identify delays and bottlenecks and communicate to management.
Ensure ROs are properly updated in the DMS.
Balance workloads to maximize shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain clear communication across service drive, shop floor, parts, and management.
Follow dealership procedures and service standards.
